MSU launches new website to improve experience for current, prospective students 

Morehead State University has always emphasized quality regarding academic experience, student support and the overall college experience. That emphasis on quality is reflected in the University’s new website.  

MSU recently launched an improved website in collaboration with Stamats, a marketing, web design and branding company based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The website features MSU's tagline, "SOAR Higher.” which demonstrates MSU’s commitment to excellence and how the University prepares students for career success. Distinct features include video and photos capturing the student experience and the beauty of the campus. The design accents the University's traditional mission of being a “light to the mountains."   

The new website is designed to share the MSU experience and provide increased functionality and better user experience for prospective and current students, faculty, staff and alumni.  

MSU is launching the website in phases. The first phase launched in September and includes the most critical web pages for student recruitment, academic programs, financial aid and essential campus information and resources. The University will complete the remainder of the website in the coming weeks.  

“A University website is often the first impression of your institution to all prospects,” said Rick Hesterberg, vice president for University Advancement at MSU. “We wanted our site to have an up-front emotional appeal to pull people in and then deliver the information they seek through easy navigational tools. Through our strong partnership with Stamats, we think this site achieves that and more.”
