MSU ranks Best for Vets in 2022

Morehead State University prides itself on supporting veterans and military students while offering what they need to be successful – and MSU consistently receives national recognition for these efforts.

Once again, MSU is recognized among the country's best four-year colleges for veterans in Military Times' Best for Vets: Colleges 2022.

Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges ranking is a top resource for veterans to help with their education decisions. This year's rankings now include an individual web page for each school. It provides detailed information about their program that will help veterans make essential decisions about their career planning and how to use the education benefits they earned through military service.

To view the full rankings, visit colleges.militarytimes.com.

Military Times' annual Best for Vets survey asks colleges and universities to disclose academic outcomes and input data, describe many aspects of veteran culture on campus and meticulously document a wide array of services, particular policies, accommodations and financial incentives offered to students with military ties. Military Times also factors in data from the Veterans Affairs and Defense departments and three Education Department sources: the IPEDS Data Center, College Scorecard data, and the Cohort Default Rate Database.

Other military publications and organizations like GI Jobs magazine, Military Advanced Education journal, the Military Times, the U.S. News & World Report and Veterans National Honor Society have recognized MSU as a military/veteran-friendly university.

MSU's Lt. Col. Alan R. Baldwin Veterans Resource Center builds on the University's continued efforts to provide MSU's military and veteran students with the service, support and assistance they have earned. The center aims to eliminate obstacles and ensure that our veterans' transition to college with greater ease.

Other ways MSU assists our military and veteran students include:
