MSU hosts first-ever Grad School Blitz
The Morehead State University Graduate School will host the first-ever Grad School Blitz. The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 13, on the upper patio of the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC).
The Grad School Blitz is for anyone interested in the MSU Graduate School, especially MSU undergraduate students. Earning a graduate degree can increase your earning potential in your chosen field and allow you to advance more quickly in your career.
Staff from the graduate school will meet with students and answer questions. The event will have prizes, giveaways, snacks and refreshments.
Advisors from MSU's four colleges will be there to discuss specific programs. Kiosks will be available for students to apply online, and the University will offer a promo code to waive the application fee so you can apply for free.
"We're excited to host the Grad School Blitz event as it will provide an opportunity to all students on our campus to learn more about graduate school and the impact that it may have on their future success,” said Ollie Floyd, graduate advising center coordinator. “Graduate School gives students the ability to specialize in a specific concentrated area, which can lead to increases in salary, career advancement, or simply a change in their career path. With more than 30 graduate programs offered completely online, it's more convenient than ever to pursue a graduate degree at MSU."
The MSU Graduate School offers quality programs and classes, affordability, flexibility, and convenience. In addition to undergraduate students, an MSU graduate degree is ideal for seasoned professionals requiring the additional skills, credentials, or degrees necessary for career advancement.
