Adults returning to school event is April 18 at MSU at Mt. Sterling

An event to help adult prospective students make connections and find resources to return to school will be held Tuesday, April 18, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at MSU at Mt. Sterling.

The event is designed for adult, transfer, and military/veteran students in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) interested in learning more about Morehead State University. The focus of the event will be to help those students make a seamless transition from KCTCS to MSU.

Staff members from academic divisions and the Office of Enrollment Services will provide information on online courses, veterans/military educational benefits, completer degrees (2+2 agreements), transfer scholarships and more. In addition, representatives from community-based services will be on hand to provide information on resources available to adult students.

"We are so excited to meet with prospective adult students and provide them with the resources and information they need to change their lives. This event aims to serve 'the whole student' by not only getting them started academically but introducing them to agencies in their area that can provide assistance along the way." said Jen Timmermann, director of transition services at Morehead State.

Students are encouraged to RSVP by April 14 at https://tinyurl.com/adultmts23.
