Board of Regents meets Nov. 3
The Morehead State University Board of Regents will hold a quarterly meeting on Friday, Nov. 3, at 3 p.m., in room 329 of the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC).
Before the board meeting, the Audit Committee will meet at 2:30 p.m.
The board will act on several items, including:
- Approval of an updated job description for President Dr. Jay Morgan.
- Approval of a University endowment match.
- Approval of an update to the Staff Congress bylaws.
- Approval of changes to University Policy PG-22.
- Approval of changes to the University’s Intercollegiate Athletics Committee.
- Approval of the University audit report.
- Ratification of the 2024-26 biennial budget request.
- Approval of a University budget adjustment.
- Approval of asset preservation projects.
- Approval of the employee compensation plan.
- Approval of the track program.
- Approval of exception from LEED certification.
The board will also hear a report on a new housing feasibility study and consider authorizing construction and bonding for the project. The board will also hear an update on the new science and engineering building.
