Senior art exhibition opens at Morehead State March 25
Morehead State's annual juried senior art exhibition, "All Things Considered," will be on display from March 25 to April 11 in the Golding-Yang Gallery in the Claypool-Young Art Building.
The opening reception is Wednesday, April 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the gallery.
The show features mixed media, paintings, sculptures, photography, and more by 27 graduating senior art students. Gallery Director and Instructor of Art and Design Michael Bowen and the art faculty are jurors.
"This exhibit allows each student to show off the amazing work they have completed at MSU. It is the culmination of their studies and allows them to share their artistic voice not only with the campus and student body but with their friends and family," Bowen said. "For some, it may even be their first time exhibiting their work besides our sophomore review."
"People should come to see the amazing work and the great accomplishments of our students and support them as they begin the journey into their professional artistic career. So far, the work I've seen is top-notch, and I am extremely proud of these young artists."
