Inscape Showcase is April 25
A reception and showcase to commemorate the release of this year’s edition of Inscape, Morehead State’s literary and fine arts journal, is Thursday, April 25, at 6 p.m. in room 111 of the Claypool-Young Art Building.
Through a joint effort between the Department of English & Modern Languages and the Department of Communications, Media, Art & Design, Inscape gives students opportunities to publish their work, build their portfolio and resume, and expand their experience and knowledge of the submission, editing, and publication process.
This annual juried publication features various media and works, including ceramics, creative essays, design, digital art, drawing and illustration, nonfiction, painting, photography, poetry, printmaking, prose, sculpture, and short stories. Cash prizes are awarded for first, second, and third place and honorable mention in the categories of literature and artwork. A $100 prize is awarded to the selected cover designer. Winners will be announced at the showcase.
