Star Theater offers spring and summer programming, including Laser Taylor Swift
Morehead State's Star Theater is hosting several exciting programs for spring and summer, including popular shows, hands-on science activities and more.
The theater will host a planetarium laser show set to Taylor Swift’s music on Saturday, May 25, at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 13, at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
The show features laser art set to Taylor Swift's music and includes a full-dome planetarium feature and a live tour of the night sky. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 5 and seniors. Children under 4 and MSU faculty, staff and students are admitted free.
This summer the theater has a variety of programming on second and fourth Saturdays, including:
- Hands-on science activities for children based on science activity workshops for students, parents and teachers at Goddard Space Flight Center and the World of Science.
- Planetarium feature shows for people of all ages.
- Laser shows with a variety of popular music.
The Space Science Center's Star Theater is a state-of-the-art digital planetarium serving the surrounding area of Eastern Kentucky. The planetarium offers public shows on second and fourth Saturdays throughout the year on a first-come, first-served basis. Planetarium shows typically include a feature show and a tour of the night sky. We offer laser shows on Saturdays throughout the year. Costs may vary by activity.
