Commercial Bank of West Liberty Scholarship recipient announced 

The MSU Foundation announced the Commercial Bank of West Liberty Scholarship has named the 2024-25 recipient.  

Established in 2018, the fund provides a $1,000 scholarship awarded to incoming first-year students from Morgan County. This year's recipient is Emma Keaton.  

"I chose to attend MSU because I love the opportunities this university has to offer while still being close to home," Keaton said. "I hope to one day hold a successful career in the banking industry."  

Recipients of the Commercial Bank of West Liberty Scholarship must have a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher and be financially eligible to receive the award. The criteria give preference to students majoring in business, accounting, or finance, with special consideration given to those interested in a career in banking and/or students who are relatives of current Commercial Bank of West Liberty employees or current bank employees themselves.
