BOARD OF REGENTS IS MEETING OCT. 11
Morehead State University Board of Regents meets on Friday, Oct. 11, at 3:15 p.m. in room 329 of the Adron Doran University Center.
The Board will discuss the approval of various topics regarding the campus and its facilities.
This meeting agenda includes:
- Extending the University’s strategic plan to 2028
- Employee compensation
- Changes to MSU's Optional Retirement Plan Committee Membership
- Approval of Asset Preservation Projects related to the renovation of Camden-Carroll Library Phase II
- Approval of Asset Preservation Projects related to Elevator Repair Funding Pool
- Naming the Laughlin Health Building and Wetherby Gymnasium parking lots
- Ratifying Summer 2024 graduates
- Awarding an honorary doctorate
- Renaming Third Street Eats to Third Street General Services Building
MSU President Dr. Jay Morgan will give updates on the Normal Hall and Veterinary Technology Building renovations.
Vice President for University Advancement Rick Hesterberg will also update members on the MSU Foundation.
Board members will also review reports on personal service contracts and annual property leases.
Regent Eric Howard will be recognized for his service as chair of the Board of Regents.
