Morehead State Open House is Nov. 2

In 2024, Morehead State University earned its highest-ever overall ranking (#14) as one of the best public regional universities in the South by U.S. News & World Report. MSU invites prospective families to find out what sets MSU apart at Open House.

The next Open House is Saturday, Nov. 2, at 9 a.m. in the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC). By signing up, prospective students and families can:

• Speak with faculty from our academic programs.
• Get guidance from financial aid representatives.
• Learn about advising, tutoring, career planning and other student success services.
• Take a tour of MSU's campus.

“We invite prospective students and their families to experience MSU by attending our open house. The open house program will allow you to learn about our top-notch academics and exciting student life,” said Dr. Annette Graham (Class of 1985), assistant director of the Welcome Center and campus visits. “You can immerse yourself in academics by engaging with deans, department chairs, and faculty. A guided campus tour will also provide the opportunity to explore the beauty of our campus and the First-Year Village for new students.”

For those who apply for admission at Open House, MSU will waive the $30 application fee—turning in transcripts and test scores at the event to qualify applicants for the fee waiver.

MSU's Open House event attendees will receive complimentary tickets to cheer on the Eagle Football team. The Eagles will take on St. Thomas at 1 p.m. in Jayne Stadium.

MSU emphasizes quality academic programs that provide opportunities to gain real-world experience while fostering a welcoming sense of community.

Students and families are encouraged to register online for Open House.

MSU's Open House also provides information and a campus tour for high school students interested in attending the Craft Academy for Excellence in Science & Mathematics. Please indicate your interest on your registration form.
