MSU BOARD OF REGENTS HOSTS QUARTERLY MEETING
The Morehead State University Board of Regents met on Friday, Oct. 11, for their homecoming meeting.
Board members recognized two individuals for their service to the University.
Honorees include:
- Jaisa Adams, general business and accounting major from Vanceburg
- Dr. Sam Stapleton, Smith College of Business & Technology, MBA program director/instructor of management
Past Chair Eric Howard was also honored for his service to the BOR.
MSU Summer 2024 graduates were ratified.
Dr. Aris Cedeño, former executive director of the Kentucky Governors Scholars Program, will receive an honorary doctorate at the Fall 2024 Commencement.
Regents voted and approved various renovations across campus, including:
- Normal Hall and Veterinary Technology Building
- Camden-Carroll Library Phase II
- Naming the Laughlin Health Building and Wetherby Gymnasium parking lots
Employee compensation increases, and the addition of members to the optional retirement plan were approved.
