Board of Regents meeting scheduled for Nov. 15
Morehead State University Board of Regents meets on Friday, Nov. 15, at 9:45 a.m. at MSU at Mt. Sterling, located at 3400 Indian Mound Drive.
The Audit Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. before the regular board meeting. The committee will review and approve the University’s financial statements ending June 30, 2024.
During their regular meeting, the Board will discuss the approval of various items regarding the campus and facilities.
This meeting agenda includes:
- Ratifying personnel actions
- Approval of the Doctor of Engineering program
- Approval of program notifications and the University organizational chart
- Approval of CPE Endowment Matching Funds
- Approval of Policy Revision (PG-6)
Recommendations will be made about the following:
- Approval of the University audit
- Ratifying the amended operating budget
- Approval of property acquisition
- Approval of razing Normal Hall and a replacement capital project
- Approval of the increase for Academic-Athletic Center Life Safety Capital Project
- Approval of changes in funding source, Campus Elevator Upgrades Capital Project
- Approve naming of new residence hall
MSU President Dr. Jay Morgan will give updates on the State Performance Funding Formula, and Vice President Mary Fister-Tucker will present the year-end financial update.
Board members will also review reports on personal service contracts and fall semester enrollment reports.
Vice President for University Advancement Rick Hesterberg will be recognized for his service.
