Morehead State University’s Kentucky Folk Art Center (KFAC) and Downtown Morehead, Inc. present the 38th Annual Appalachian Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair.
The event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 9 to 4 p.m. at the Morehead Conference Center, located at 111 E First St. in Morehead.
More than 50 juried artisans from Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia will attend the fair. Various handcrafted wood items, ceramics, homemade baked goods, jewelry, and more will be available.
Admission to the fair is $5, and children 12 and under are admitted for free.
The Kentucky Folk Art Center (KFAC) at Morehead State University houses a permanent collection of nearly 1,400 pieces of self-taught art. Dozens of works from the collection are displayed rotating in the center’s first-floor gallery. The Center presents several new changing exhibits each year in the second-floor gallery, featuring folk art, fine art, textiles, photography, and historical content. The gift shop offers original folk art, crafts, jewelry, books, toys, housewares and more.
