MSU Board of Regents honors students, staff, and faculty
The Morehead State University Board of Regents met on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025.
During the meeting, the Board recognized individuals for their achievements in academics, athletics and campus service.
Among those honored were:
- Students: The MSU Soccer and Volleyball teams recognizing their appearances at their respective NCAA tournaments.
- Staff: Travis Jolley, maintenance supervisor/locksmith, who has worked at MSU since 2011.
- Faculty: Dr. Kim Clevenger, who has recently been named chair of the Department of Nursing and is also an alumna of the university.
In addition to these recognitions, the Board discussed several important items during the meeting.
The Board ratified personnel actions, Fall 2024 graduates, and approved revisions to the Student Government Association Constitution, faculty sabbaticals, athletic contracts, and updates to Policy PG-15.
They also approved the first-quarter financial report, amended operating budget, and accepted the 2023-2024 NCAA and WMKY-FM audits.
The Board reviewed reports on university performance, finances, construction, the Six-Year Capital Plan, 2024 fundraising, and personal services contracts.
