Justice Siblings establish scholarship endowment

The MSU Foundation announced the establishment of the Albert Eli "Bo" and Juanita Justice Scholarship Endowment, a fund to benefit Morehead State University students.

Originally from Inez, siblings Bo and Juanita Justice were proud supporters of Morehead State. Bo passed in 2010, and following his passing, Juanita named MSU the beneficiary of a joint charitable gift annuity established by her and Bo. Juanita later passed away in September 2024 at the age of 97.

The endowment, valued at over $600,000, benefits full-time students, with preference given to Martin County residents and descendants. The scholarship may be renewed annually up to three times if a 3.0 GPA is maintained.

"The generosity of the Justice family is profound," said Allison Caudill (Class of 2005, 2009), vice president for University Advancement. "This endowment will provide substantial funding on an annual basis that will assist MSU students who may not otherwise qualify for merit or need-based aid."
