MSU Board of Regents honors administration, staff and students
The Morehead State University Board of Regents met on Friday, March 28.
During the meeting, the Board recognized individuals for their achievements in campus service.
Among those honored were:
- Student: Kairi Wickline, a third-year nursing student and resident advisor from Stanton.
- Staff: Paul Rhodes (Class of 2007), former Eagle baseball player and tickets & facilities manager for MSU Athletics.
- Administration: Dr. Rajeev Parikh, outgoing interim provost and vice president for academic affairs.
In addition to these recognitions, the Board discussed several important items during the meeting.
The Board ratified winter graduates and approved tenure with promotion for faculty and athletic contracts.
They also approved the second-quarter financial report, the University’s Six-Year Capital Plan, University fees and housing rates for 2025-26 and the University naming policy for facilities and programs.
The Board heard updates on the Quality Enhancement Plan, dining plans for 2025-26, and the President’s Report. It also received an update on the progress of MSU’s second new residence hall and personal services contracts.
