MSU mourns the death of Devin Wright

Morehead State University mourns the loss of Devin Dimitrius Wright, an MSU student who passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 14, at age 19.  

Affectionately known as "Deuce," Wright was born in Paducah and raised in Mt. Sterling. He graduated from Montgomery County High School in 2024 before enrolling at MSU. He majored in biomedical sciences, focusing on pre-dentistry and aspirations to become a dentist.  

Memorial services will be held at noon on Saturday, March 22, at First Church of God in Mt. Sterling, with a visitation at 9 a.m. View obituary. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Devin's memory go to the Montgomery County High School Boys Bowling Team, 724 Woodford Drive, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.
