Morehead State Public Radio announces new board members
Morehead State Public Radio has announced three new members to its Community Advisory Board.
Joining the ten-member volunteer board are David Gillum (Class of 2013, 2018, 2023), Welcome Center & Campus Visits Assistant Director Dr. Annette Graham (Class of 1985), and Drew McNeill (Class of 1989).
Other members of the board are:
- Gwen Akers, a senior English major from Ashland
- Savannah Jackson (Class of 2024, 2025)
- Louise Mason (Class of 1984, 2003)
- Dr. James Masterson, History, Philosophy, Politics, Global Studies & Legal Studies and Communication, Media, Art & Design department chair and professor
- Alexis Mathews (Class of 2017, 2019), undergraduate research coordinator and lecturer
- Dr. Timothy Simpson (Class of 1995), Teacher Education and Foundational & Graduate Studies in Education department chair and professor
- Adrian Swain (Class of 1998, 2006)
The CAB assists MSPR on matters relating to programming, fundraising, and public relations to build the listening audience, expand the operational base of support, and provide a better community service through educational and cultural radio programming.
CAB meetings are held quarterly and are open to the public. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, at 5:30 p.m.
