Morehead State builds excitement for the upcoming semester with Registration Celebration
Morehead State University is helping students plan for the fall and have fun in the process.
Beaker's Registration Celebration is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, on the first floor west of the Camden-Carroll Library. MSU students registered for the 2026 fall semester are invited to the Registration Celebration, an event created last year to help them have a successful path to graduation.
Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss concerns with the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships, the Office of Accounting & Financial Services, the Center for Career Development & Experiential Education, and other relevant offices. Students should bring a copy or screenshot of their spring registration schedule. Advising staff will be available to help students who have not registered for classes upon arrival.
Advanced Registration for the summer and fall 2026 semesters takes place Monday through Friday, April 6-10. Beaker's Registration Celebration will feature a movie-premiere-style red carpet arrival, door prizes, a raffle for three Eagle Books Scholarships, refreshments and a stuff-a-plush for the first 200 attendees. Snacks and drinks will also be provided.
Previous Registration Celebration events proved to be a hit with MSU students, and Michelle Barber (Class of 2005, 2010), director of academic advising and retention, said she hopes this continues to be an enjoyable way for students to be proactive with their academic responsibilities and planning.
"We always look for ways that we can applaud and celebrate our students' successes, and this event does that in such an engaging and fun way," she said. "Preparing for the upcoming semester marks a milestone that gets each student closer to their career goals – one semester at a time."
