Do Good Scholarship created for MSU Delta Gamma members

The Morehead State University Foundation has announced the creation of the Do Good: Morgan Wells Delta Gamma Sisterhood Scholarship. This life-changing gift will open doors for students who are active members of the Delta Omicron chapter of Delta Gamma Sorority.

This scholarship was made possible thanks to Sarah Boden-Scaggs (Class of 2020), Alexandria Bush (Class of 2022) and Emma Day (Class of 2021), three proud MSU alumni whose sisterhood with Victoria Morgan Wells inspired this initiative.

Wells arrived at MSU in the fall of 2017, following in her parents' footsteps as an Eagle legacy. She quickly became immersed in campus life, joining the Delta Gamma Fraternity and Order of Omega. After graduating in December 2020, Wells remained deeply connected to MSU through her friends and her service on the executive board of her local Delta Gamma alumni chapter. She was accepted into the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. As a fourth-year KY-COM student, Wells served as KY-COM's president of neuropsychiatry and was deeply committed to advancing mental health care and compassionate service. Wells tragically passed away in 2024 at age 25.

She was known for her intelligence, kindness, and unwavering dedication to helping others. Her life reflected Delta Gamma's purpose to foster high ideals of friendship, promote educational and cultural interests, create a true sense of social responsibility, develop the best qualities of character, and its motto, "Do Good."

The Do Good: Morgan Wells Delta Gamma Sisterhood Scholarship honors her legacy as both an MSU Eagle and a devoted Delta Gamma. It will support Delta Gamma's sisters who embody her spirit of leadership, academic excellence, and service.
