Safety
One concern you and your family might have is safety. You’ll be happy to know that Morehead State University, the home of the Craft Academy, has always made safety a top priority for its students. Our MSU Police Department is a fully-accredited, 24-7 police department. MSU is ranked as one of the safest campuses in the country.
You’ll also have an extra sense of security through our free LiveSafe app. Signing up for Eagle Alerts (provided by Omnilert) makes it easy for you to receive alerts for weather and safety alerts via email or text message.
MSU also has earned StormReady designation and has developed a severe weather safety plan specifically tailored to the University in cooperation with the National Weather Service.
Your Craft Academy/MSU ID card provides you with access to your residence hall. Building access is monitored around the clock.
