Out-of-State Scholarships
Morehead State awards more than $14 million in University and MSU Foundation scholarships and grants each year. MSU offers a variety of scholarships based on several criteria, including academic excellence, area of study, what type of student you are, where you live, and your need.
This information applies to new students for the 2024-25 school year.

*Housing stipend for the cost of the honors hall, $1,000 textbook stipend, a designated meal plan, and $1,500 one-time education abroad allowance.
**Scholarship requires on-campus housing.
Note: Scholarships require on-campus housing for a minimum of 4 semesters. There is a 40% reduction in scholarships if the housing requirement is not met. An unweighted high school GPA is utilized for all scholarships.
