Scholarships
Thanks to our donors and alumni, MSU offers a variety of scholarships. The MSU Foundation awarded 800 scholarships totaling $1.1 million million in 2023-24.

Centennial Eagle
A central figure on our campus is a bronze eagle, the Spirit of Aspiration. The sculpture was created by alum Sam McKinney (Class of 1973, 1992), thanks to a generous gift from alum Ron Cartee (Class of 1965) and family. It commemorated MSU's 100th anniversary as a public institution and reflects MSU's commitment to student success.
