COMMUNICATION AND MEDIA

MSU offers communication and media degrees to prepare you for exciting careers in the digital age. Work in the field, in front of the camera or behind the scenes, learning about video production, news reporting, public relations and broadcasting.

Pursue degrees in media production and journalism and strategic communications and minors in social media, event planning and film studies.

ART & DESIGN

MSU's art and design programs are some of the state's most comprehensive for art, design, and teacher education. Learn technique and turn your talents and knowledge into a career in the arts or as an arts educator.

Graduates of our programs pursue careers in the corporate, government, nonprofit, and independent sectors, including:

Art museums/galleries: administration, curatorial, conservation, public relations, exhibit design and preparation.
Graphic design: digital, print, multimedia, type, web, illustration, and advertising.
Education P-12: studio art, fine arts, art history.
Independent studio practice: sales, promotion, design, development, freelance.

All programs in Art & Design are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
