MSU's administrative offices help the University carry out its mission efficiently and effectively.

Mission
As a community of lifelong learners, we will: educate students for success in a global environment; engage in scholarship; promote diversity of people and ideas; foster innovation, collaboration and creative thinking; and serve our communities to improve the quality of life.
The University is organized into divisions, and each division is led by a vice president who is responsible for implementing programs and services that are essential for the management of the University and report to the Office of the President. Administration and Fiscal Services units report directly to the president.
