Request a Transcript
Morehead State University has partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide online ordering of official MSU transcripts. Ordering a transcript from the NSC is easy, secure, and a more convenient way to order online at any time. Order updates will be emailed to the student. Students may also track their order online using their order number. Transcripts can be sent electronically, mailed, or held for pick-up in the Office of the Registrar.
Please note there is a field for both the student's MSU ID number and social security number during the ordering process. However, only one is required to complete the order. If students are unsure of their exact dates of attendance, simply estimate.
Transcripts for students who attended prior to 1985 may only be mailed at this time. They cannot be sent electronically. Additional processing time is required for archived records.
Transcript fees per copy are:
- $13.90 for electronic requests (includes NSC processing fee + Digital Signature fee).
- $12.90 for mailed requests (includes NSC processing fee).
You may include up to two documents to be sent with your Morehead State University transcripts, such as application forms required by recipient graduate/scholarship programs or for licensing. These documents must be in PDF, DOC, DOCX, TIFF, or JPEG (JPG) formats. We reserve the right not to include certain documents with your transcripts. We will notify you via email if we cannot send your attached documents.
Unofficial transcripts are only available to current students in Self-Service. They do not contain the Morehead State University seal, address, or the Registrar’s signature. Unofficial transcripts are intended for personal use and reference only. To view your unofficial transcripts, log in to Self-Service and click on the graduation cap icon (Academics). Select “Unofficial Transcript."
