Risk Management & Insurance
Risk management through the Office of Environmental Health and Safety manages and administers a comprehensive University insurance program designed to protect physical, financial and human resources. The director of Environmental Health & Safety, Risk Management & Insurance routinely performs risk assessment, loss control, and claims management.
Risk management is responsible for various types of insurance coverage required by Morehead State University and the extended campus centers, including:

Risk management ensures coverage and assists in the preparation of detailed specifications for all insurance requiring legal proposals or bids and is responsible for all boards of claims filed, taking the necessary action for proper reporting.
