Dropping a Class

This page offers information on dropping a class for international students. For information about dropping a class for all other students, contact your advisor or visit the Office of the Registrar.

If you are interested in dropping a class:

1. Meet with your advisor to discuss dropping the class and to obtain the required form.
2. Have the form signed by the professor/instructor of the class. 
3. Take the form to the Office of International Student Services in 239 ADUC. A hold must be removed from your account before you will be able to drop the class. This hold is lifted temporarily for ONE day, giving you time to drop the class. The hold ensures you stay in compliance with your immigration status. The hold will automatically resume the following day.
