Violence Prevention
Morehead State ranks as one of the safest campuses in the nation, and we are committed to providing a learning and living environment where our students feel safe and secure.
MSU Police
The Morehead State University Police Department (MSUPD) offers resources on crime prevention, campus safety, and tips to help you stay safe on campus. The department has an anonymous tip line so you can discreetly report incidents, and also offers transport services and the LiveSafe app, which provides digital safety tools and resources.
Green Dot
Green Dot is an evidence-based violence prevention program that focuses on bystander intervention. Its inclusive approach encourages everyone to create a safe and welcoming campus community.
The Green Dot Bystander Prevention presentation provides tools and techniques for intervening in practical ways. The program dispenses general education on power-based violence and provides a unique plan of action for each participant.
