FIRST AID/CPR/AED TRAINING

The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/ AED course is to explain the emergency medical services (EMS) system, emphasize the need for rapid medical assistance in an emergency and provide instruction on appropriate care for a variety of injuries and sudden illnesses that lay responders may encounter in their workplaces, schools, communities and homes.

There are no prerequisites for this course as it is a basic level course.
There are no age restrictions for participants wanting to take the course. However, they must be able to demonstrate/perform all the necessary skills required for the course.
All courses must have at least three participants in order to start as scheduled. Additional arrangements will be made if the minimum is not met.
Additional offerings can be organized if our schedule does not meet the needs of your group or organization.
No refunds are given if the participant does not pass the course.
You do not have to have a membership with the RWC to participate in this course.

FEES

The fee is $100 per participant. This fee includes the manual, instruction, course materials, and certification costs. To sign up, contact the front desk of the Recreation and Wellness Center at
