Your MyMoreheadState account provides students and employees access to academic and administrative services, including email, Office 365, Self-Service and more.

To gain access to your account, you must initialize your account by logging into the Eagle Account Center (EAC). If you do not know your email address, log in to the EAC, and it will be displayed.

MyMoreheadState is a one-stop location for academic, account, billing information and more.

Account Instructions

University accounts are activated and maintained through the Eagle Account Center (EAC). The EAC allows users to establish email accounts and maintain an online password (Eagle PASS). Your Eagle ID and Eagle PASS are used to log in to most online programs on campus. Activation of accounts is available when a student has been admitted to the University or when employees have completed the hiring process within the Office of Human Resources.

Instructions:

  1. Go to Eagle Account Center.
  2. Follow the instructions under "Account Activation."
  3. Enter your MSU ID, a 7-digit number preceded by a lowercase "m" (e.g., m0000000). Eagle ID lookup is available within the Eagle Account Center.
  4. Enter your temporary password (last four digits of your social security number, 2-digit month, 2-digit day and 4-digit year of your birthday).
  5. Click "Login."
  6. This will open the account initialization screen. Create a new password of 8-12 characters with at least one number and one letter. This will be your Eagle PASS, used for your email and most online accounts.
  7. Enter your new password again.
  8. Select three security questions and corresponding answers.
  9. Click "Login."  

Email accounts are assigned when the activation is complete. Access to email may take up to 24 hours after account activation.

After you have activated your online account, your account passwords are maintained within the Eagle Account Center.

To change your Eagle Pass:

  1. Log into my.moreheadstate.edu.
  2. Click the Eagle Account Center (EAC) button in the Campus Applications section.
  3. Log into the EAC using your Eagle ID (ex. m0123456) followed by your current password.
  4. Click "Change Password."
  5. Enter a new password in the box as indicated. Re-type your password to confirm.
  6. Click the "Change Password" button to save changes.
  7. Update all devices associated with your MSU account.

If you have forgotten your current password, click "Forgot your Password?" in the Eagle Account Center. 

Colleague is used to manage major administrative functions across the University:

  • Student (Recruitment, Registration, Accounts Receivable, & Financial Aid)
  • Financial (Purchasing & budgets)
  • Human Resources (Personnel & Payroll)

Colleague is supported by Information Technology in consultation with department administrators who serve as data custodians (individuals that oversee security rights within particular areas of the Colleague database.)
