Ambassadors for Excellence in Teaching
The Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning (FCTL) coordinates the Ambassadors for Excellence in Teaching initiative. These faculty members, two per college, are champions for excellence in teaching across campus and especially within their college.
The basic service responsibilities of ambassadors include:
- Attend two meetings per semester.
- Write at least one article for the Teaching Tuesday newsletter per semester.
- Plan and present at least one pedagogy workshop on campus per year. Ambassadors make additional contributions to this initiative based on expertise.
Faculty self-nominate and apply to be an Ambassador in the fall semester. Those selected serve a two-year term beginning in January. For more information, email fctl@moreheadstate.edu.
