Welcome to Morehead State University's College of Science & Engineering. Our student-centered college offers a variety of STEM programs, from agricultural sciences to space systems engineering. Our strong teaching portfolio sets us apart from traditional research colleges, while our focus on student success makes us unique among major research colleges.

I am excited to share that the 120,000-square-foot Science and Engineering facility will house academic programs, including biology, biomedical sciences, chemistry, physics, geoscience, computer science, space systems engineering, systems engineering, and engineering technology. The design is underway, and construction is anticipated to be completed by Spring 2027. Upon completion, it will replace Lappin Hall and Lloyd-Cassity Building.

Equipped with state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories, the new Science & Engineering building will provide faculty with the opportunity to prepare students for the 21st-century job market and contribute to the economic development of the region.

I am incredibly proud of the faculty and staff, who have continued to provide students with opportunities to develop practical skills in their field of study and make impactful contributions to their discipline.
