Admission Appeal for Returning, Transfer, and Returning Transfer Students
Students will be denied admission if their MSU or transfer GPA is below 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
These students are strongly encouraged to appeal their denial by first completing the Appeal Request. Once the request form is submitted, students will receive the appeal packet to complete before the provided deadline. The appeal packet consists of an essay, a financial aid consultation, and an academic advisor consultation. Once the completed appeal packet is submitted, students will be scheduled to meet with the Admission Appeal Committee. The committee will make the student’s admission decision on the day of their meeting. The student will be notified of the decision and provided with the next steps.
