Why licensing matters

CLC and the Office of Communications and Marketing are committed to positively promoting our image. We also protect our trademark rights and generate royalty revenue. The royalty revenue generated directly supports scholarships through our Alumni Association.

While creating and maintaining positive relationships with manufacturers and retailers is an integral part of each program’s overall success, purchasing an item from an officially-licensed vendor gives back to the next generation of Eagles.

Our partnership with CLC helps to ensure that products bearing the marks of the University are of the highest quality and satisfy consumer demand.

Brand Manager 360

Once a license has been acquired, licensees must submit all designs bearing University trademarks for review and approval before production, as well as report monthly sales and royalties.

Recognizing official products

CLC's "Officially Licensed Collegiate Product" hologram label has enhanced security features and is your assurance that the souvenir or item was produced by a licensed vendor and a portion of the sales directly supports Morehead State.
