Mission
The Morehead State University Center for Environmental Education's mission is to increase the environmental literacy of MSU students as well as the citizens of the MSU service region through education, community service and research that encourages the protection and sustainable development of Kentucky's natural and cultural resources.
About the Center
The Center for Environmental Education houses the Environmental Education Endorsement, leads community sustainability projects, conductors in-service and preservice professional development, conducts research, assists classroom teachers with field trips, and maintains two outdoor classrooms on the MSU campus. Our most recent projects are the implementation of the Triplett Creek Watershed-based Plan and the Earth Force Community Collaboration grant. We have a variety of resources that can be signed out by educators who have participated in a workshop sponsored by the Center for Environmental Environmental Education.
