Admission to the Theatre & Dance Programs
ELIGIBILITY & ADMISSION
High school and transfer students that meet the admission requirements to Morehead State University are eligible to enroll in the Theatre and Dance programs. No formal audition is required. Students desiring to major in theatre should complete the Theatre Admission and Scholarship Application. Completion of this application will allow us to better prepare for your arrival at MSU.

TRANSFER STUDENT ADMISSION
The theatre or dance transfer student entering the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance by transfer must submit an official transcript of all previous college work. The student will work with the Department Chair to determine which courses in theatre and dance from the prior institution will transfer to the programs at MSU.

- Nelson Carpenter Scholarship (returning students only)
- College Access Program Grant (KY residents only). One-time monetary award.
- Additional institutional scholarships are based on merit and need.
- Note that all federal and state need-based financial aid and loans require the FAFSA. Students should complete this form as soon as possible.
