Health & Kinesiology

MSU's exercise science major provides the knowledge and hands-on skills for career success. Internships provide real-world experience, and classes in exercise physiology, functional anatomy, exercise program leadership, facility design, and nutrition prepare you for various certifications, including the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).

The health promotion and health minor programs prepare students to improve the health of their communities. These degrees prepare students for careers in health departments, health education centers, YMCAs and more.

We also offer a master's degree in wellness promotion that can enhance your skills and career opportunities in health.
