CARES Act: MSU Compliance Statement

As of September 30, 2021, the University had disbursed 3,036 HEERF III awards to students totaling $4,256,193.48. The University had 15,311 students who have been enrolled since the pandemic declaration and would be eligible under the HEERF III guidance however the University prioritized the HEERF III grant funds to students exhibiting the greatest financial need by evidence of their household income (EFC) and or their documented inability to pay for the cost of attendance due to COVID-19.

As of December 31, 2021, the University had disbursed 3,611 HEERF III awards to students totaling $5,819,987.82. The University had 15,311 students who have been enrolled since the pandemic declaration and would be eligible under the HEERF III guidance however the University prioritized the HEERF III grant funds to students exhibiting the greatest financial need by evidence of their household income (EFC) and or their documented inability to pay for the cost of attendance due to COVID-19.

As of March 31, 2022, the University had disbursed 7,378 HEERF III awards to students totaling $9,431,987.50. The University had 18,128 students who have been enrolled since the pandemic declaration and would be eligible under the HEERF III guidance however the University prioritized the HEERF III grants to students exhibiting the greatest financial need by evidence of their household income (EFC) and or their documented inability to pay for the cost of attendance due to COVID-19.

As of June 30, 2022, the University had disbursed 7,857 HEERF III awards to students totaling $10,006,024. The University had 18,128 students who have been enrolled since the pandemic declaration and would be eligible under the HEERF III guidance however the University prioritized the HEERF III grants to students exhibiting the greatest financial need by evidence of their household income (EFC) and or their documented inability to pay for the cost of attendance due to COVID-19.
