How to Transfer

MSU offers you the flexibility to explore a variety of degree programs through a mix of face-to-face and online classes. Most of our regional campuses offer daytime, evening and weekend classes, allowing you to pursue a path to your college degree that fits your schedule and your life. Regional campuses are located in Ashland, Mt. Sterling, and Prestonsburg, and we offer classes in Hazard at the University Center for the Mountains.

Transferring made simple

“My transfer process was very smooth and painless and I loved getting to know the transfer team here at MSU. This helped me to grow a personal connection with people here on campus.”

For Kaitlyn Campbell, one of the art major’s favorite memories at Morehead State was taking her Ceramics I class and literally cheering on her classmates as they finished their pieces. She came to Morehead State from Prestonsburg, Kentucky, and loves to bond with her friends, whether as a member of the Baptist Campus Ministries (BCM) or just having dinner with her roommate at Eagle Lake.
