MSU offers several resources to support students' health, finances, mental health, and activities.
Financial Assistance
- SHARE Fund - The Student Hardship Assistance Resource Emergency (SHARE) fund is a fund that directly supports MSU students during times of financial hardship due to an emergency or life-altering situation. Students can apply to receive limited financial assistance from the SHARE fund for a variety of essential needs that cannot currently be met by the student due to temporary hardship. The amount of funds awarded will vary and will depend on the individual situation of each student. The fund is supported entirely by donations and funds awarded do not have to be repaid.
- Eagle Emergency Loan Fund - The Eagle Emergency Loan Fund is a faculty and staff supported fund that provides short-term, interest free loans to students who are facing financial barriers that interfere with their ability to continue their education at MSU. From transportation costs to family responsibilities to unexpected educational expenses, the Eagle Emergency Loan Fund will show students that we are committed to their educational success.
- Eagle Essentials - The Office of Student Activities provides a "free store" for students with everyday items at no cost. We provide students with non-perishable food items, hygiene products and school supplies. Eagle Essentials is located at 227 ADUC.
