Students are selected to participate in the Eagle Success program based on their Admissions Index.

MSU determines admission based on an Admissions Index composed of:

• High School GPA x 100 + ACT x 10 = 500 Unconditional Admission
• High School GPA x 100 + ACT x 10 = 475-499 Provisional Admission
• High School GPA x 100 + ACT x 10 = 450-474 Conditional Admission

Students will be required to sign an Online Commitment Statement which will confirm participation in the Eagle Success Program.

Yes. You still need to attend SOAR. Once you have accepted your invitation, we will assign a SOAR date to you.

Yes. If you have not already filled out your FAFSA, you will need to do so as soon as possible. Don’t forget to send the results of your FAFSA to MSU (FAFSA Code: 001976).

Not for fall. However, you will work collaboratively with your Academic Advisor to determine appropriate courses based on your major and interest.

• FYS 101: This course will cover topics such as study skills, career development, financial literacy and leadership.
• Core Curriculum: These courses are those that count towards your degree requirements for graduation and will differ based on your chosen major. If college readiness/developmental courses have not been satisfied prior to fall, these must also be remediated.
