STEP 1: COMPLETE THE 4 ASSESSMENTS IN TYPEFOCUS

• Log into Eagle CareerNet
• Are you ready to investigate your career path? Let's get started!
• Visit Eagle CareerNet and click "Need a password?" below the Sign In button. Enter your MSU ID number, including the lowercase "m," and click the go button. Eagle CareerNet will send you an email containing a link to establish your password. Once you have created your password, you will log in using your MSU ID number and password.
• Once logged in, click on "Resources" at the top of the page. Scroll down to "Career Exploration Tools" and click "TypeFocus - Career exploration platform."
• Complete the fields to create a new TypeFocus account.
• Complete the personality, interests, values and skills assessments (download instructions). Each assessment takes 5-10 minutes to complete.
• After completing the assessments, you can schedule an individualized major and career exploration appointment with Career Services based on your specific goals and needs. If you need help scheduling classes, contact your academic advisor.
