Learn about Appalachian traditions and culture, from history and geology to social issues and the arts. 

What You Can Do with an Appalachian Studies Minor

This minor complements a variety of degree programs, allowing you to pursue careers in education, government, law, the arts and community organizing.  

Admission to the Appalachian Studies Minor program

Follow the standard undergraduate application process and choose a major to become an Appalachian Studies Minor student at Morehead State.
