What You’ll Learn in the industrial education degree Program

Acquire skills to teach students about technology, computers, robotics and more. Receive instruction in science, technology and education courses. 

What You Can Do with an industrial education degree

Pursue a career as a K-12 industrial education teacher or in career and technical education instruction. 

What makes morehead state's program different

Our program has program tracks for Engineering & Technology and Occupation-based Career & Technical Education. If you choose the Occupation-based Career & Technical Education option, you will be prepared to work in Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs across Kentucky. 

Admission to the industrial education program

Follow the standard undergraduate application process.

Students seeking teacher certification must apply for and be admitted to the Teacher Education Program (TEP). Additionally, to enroll in the clinical practice and meet state certification requirements, students must maintain a GPA of 2.75 overall (in all course work) and in professional education courses, with no grade lower than a "C" in professional education courses.
