First Year Seminar

First Year Seminar orients first-year students to Morehead State University by emphasizing strategies to achieve the academic, social, personal, financial, emotional and physical well-being that leads to college-level success and completion. This course fosters a sense of belonging and purpose in college work, promotes engagement in the curricular and co-curricular life of the university, articulates the expectations of the University and its faculty, and helps students develop and apply skills for college-level reading, critical thinking, and financial literacy. The course satisfies the core requirement for general education.
