Dr. Joyce Stubbs

She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee with master's and bachelor's degrees from MSU. She also has administration certification for career and technical education.

Stubbs has held several positions in education and industry. She has taught at both the secondary and postsecondary levels. She has worked as an administrator for the Kentucky Department of Education and Technical Education. In industry, she has worked as a general laborer in a foundry, a production staff person for a newspaper, a field technician inspecting sewer lines, and a production supervisor.

She was the first female to graduate from MSU with a bachelor’s degree in industrial arts. She is associated with the professional industrial education fraternity, Sigma Tau Epsilon, having served as the organization's national president from 1978-1979. She is a Chi Omega alumna of the Epsilon Theta Chapter. Her term ends in 2026.
