Mary Fister-Tucker

She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Treasury Professional with over 30 years of finance experience.

Before her employment at MSU in 2020, she served for over 20 years on large research university and comprehensive university campuses. She has served on several community boards, including the Transit Authority of Lexington (LEXTRAN), where she was board chair and finance committee chair, Bluegrass Council for the Blind, Manchester Center and the Lexington Shakespeare Festival as the finance committee chair. Mary graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration.

She and her husband, Jim Tucker, live in Morehead. They have one son and three grandchildren.
