Student Managed Media Opportunities

Communication, Media, Art & Design provide opportunities for you to gain hands-on experience through participation in student-managed media operations, including:

• MSU-TV, our campus television station.
• The Trail Blazer, the campus newspaper.
• NewsCenter, an on-campus television news program.

You will have access to:

• Audio and video editing facilities.
• Digital photo and video cameras, audio recording devices, microphones, etc.
• Multimedia newsrooms.
• Multi-camera television studios.

You can also develop your broadcasting and journalism skills by working or interning at Morehead State Public Radio (WMKY-FM). The MSPR station is located in Breckinridge Hall and broadcasts to more than 20 counties in Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia.
